When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved, and we are also actively seeking committee chairs. If interested, please send an email to westgatecommunityclub@gmail.com. Your help is needed and appreciated!

It's almost that time of year again....Spooky Season! 👻 Join us in celebration of Halloween in the Westgate parking lot on Thursday, October 23rd from 6-7pm! Bring your trick or treater to enjoy a safe, family friendly Halloween celebration. There will be loads of candy, complimentary popcorn and water. We will also host our creative trunk contest. 👩🏻🏫 ✨ 👻 Classroom Halloween Parties 👩🏻🏫 ✨ 👻
We need a few parents per each classroom to host the classroom Halloween parties! The parties will be held on Friday, October 31st from 2:30-3:15pm. Parents will collaborate with the teacher and other parent volunteers to plan and execute the activities. Please sign up as soon as possible to give the lead parent plenty of time to coordinate activities.
Please remember that in order to volunteer for school events in the building, you must complete a background check. Please fill out this Google Form to begin the process. After completing the form, look for an email from Westside Community Schools with instructions to initiate the background check process. This process can take a few weeks to complete, so it's best to get this filled out ASAP, so you are able to join in on the fun throughout the year.

Box Tops for Education
Did you know our school participates in the 'Box Tops' program?! I'm not sure about you, but I remember my mom sending me to school every so often with a chunky envelope of cut-out Box Top tabs to turn into the school office that she saved from all of our weekly purchases. Things may look a little bit different with how we collect them now, but the fundraising is still the same!
If you don't think remembering to scan your receipts is realistic for you, connecting your Walmart account in the Box Tops app is a sure way to continue collecting points without even having to think about it.
Simply Scan the QR code below to sign up and help the school earn funds with your regular daily purchases. You can also use the referral code (PGD303WP) to sign up when you download the 'Box Tops' app on your phone.
