Gator Nation Day is This friday! 🤸🏽‍♀️✨🐊

Join us on Friday, May 15th as the Westgate Community Club hosts our annual 💚 Gator Nation Day 💚! This special event celebrates the success of our “Adventure Awaits in the Classroom” fundraiser. It also gives us the chance to recognize an amazing school year and all the hard work our Westgate students have put in. Another year in the books...

Due to ongoing construction and limited green space at school, this year’s celebration will once again be held at Pipal Park. The festivities will kick off around 8:30 AM and wrap up by noon.

8:45am to 9:45am - 5th & 6th Grade

9:50am to 10:50am - Pre-K, Kindergarten, & 1st Grade

10:55am to 11:55am - 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Grade 

We are looking for parent volunteers to help make the day fun and memorable for everyone. Please click the link below to view the volunteer opportunities available. These will be quick 1 hour volunteer slots. As always, we are grateful and can’t wait to celebrate the 2025-2026 school year with our Westgate Fam! 

Our Pizza, Bingo, and Books Night was incredible! 🎉🍕📚

We hope everyone had a great time at our Family Fun Night! The evening was packed with excitement—tasty pizza, awesome bingo and raffle prizes, bounce houses in the gym, art displays in the hallway, books in the library, and delicious ice cream, cookies, and popcorn!

A heartfelt thank you to all of the volunteers who truly pulled together to make this night happen. There were so many wonderful additions throughout the evening, and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without many helping hands.

We are so grateful to everyone who came out and helped make the night fun and memorable. This was a fantastic first event in our new and beautiful school, and we can’t wait for many more to come! 🏫✨

📚 Scholastic Book Fair Update! 📚 

Our book fair was a huge success with over $4,000 in sales! Thank you for supporting our students and helping grow our library.

A big thank you as well for the book fair support from Liz K. and Julie B., our librarian Mrs. Aliano, and the many staff members who helped carry the fair through conferences—we truly couldn’t have done it without you! Happy reading! 📖✨

Community Club Meeting 📆 

Our next Community Club meeting will be held at the school on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 5:30 PM. Join us to hear about all the current comings and goings and share your ideas! 

We’d love to welcome some fresh faces to help support our community club. Several positions will be open for next year, and your participation can make a big difference in keeping our events and programs running smoothly.
