🛳️ All Aboard Finale - Our FUndraiser HAS REACHED it's FInal Stop!

🎒 We’ve landed! Our annual school fundraiser is officially finished! Thanks to you, our students have reached their adventure goals—celebration time is coming! We were sooooo close to our $18,000 goal! We got 88% of the way to our overall goal, how incredible! We are so very appreciative and grateful for this amazing turnout. Every dollar raised goes directly to enriching the school experience for our students and families—funding events like our *free* family fun nights 🎉, classroom parties 🖍, and staff appreciation 👩🏻‍🏫 throughout the year. Prizes will go home with kiddos after they return from fall break, the week of October 14th! Stay tuned for more updates!

This year, we’re especially excited to launch a new fundraising model that lets us keep 95% of the money raised--far more than typical fundraisers, which means your donation makes an even bigger impact on our school, where it matters most. The best part? ✅ No pick-ups. ✅ No selling or storing goods. ✅ No deliveries. Just simple giving that makes a big difference.

🌴✈️ Dress Like a Tourist Day Fun! 🧳🕶️

We had so many adorable and creative tourists walking the halls on Tuesday—even a few teachers joined in on the fun! It was a tough decision to choose winners with all the Hawaiian shirts, sunglasses, and vacation vibes. 🌺🍦📸

CLASSROOM HALLOWEEN PARTIES 

We need a few parents per each classroom to host the classroom Halloween parties! The parties will be held on Friday, October 31st from 2:30-3:15pm. Parents will collaborate with the teacher and other parent volunteers to plan and execute the activities. Please sign up as soon as possible to give the lead parent plenty of time to coordinate activities. 

Please remember that in order to volunteer for school events in the building, you must complete a background check. Please fill out this Google Form to begin the process. After completing the form, look for an email from Westside Community Schools with instructions to initiate the background check process. This process can take a few weeks to complete, so it's best to get this filled out ASAP, so you are able to join in on the fun throughout the year.

It's almost that time of year again....Spooky Season! 👻 Join us in celebration of Halloween in the Westgate parking lot on Thursday, October 23rd from 6-7pm! Bring your trick or treater to enjoy a safe, family friendly Halloween celebration. There will be loads of candy, complimentary popcorn and water. We will also host our creative trunk contest.
