Welcome to Westgate’s 2025 Fundraiser, where adventure awaits in the classroom!
We’re excited to kick off this year’s fundraiser and kindly ask for your help in getting your child’s account set up and ready to go. This year’s fundraiser is a bit different – it’s more interactive and student-driven. Your child will be actively campaigning for donations in order to earn stamps and unlock awesome prizes.
To get started, after creating an account send your child’s personal fundraising page to five contacts via email, text message, or sharing through social media (you can do this directly from our site, see all instructions below). They will also need to fill in their ‘Boarding Pass’ with their five contacts and return it to school no later than Tuesday, September 16th. All students who complete this step will win their first prize, no donation required! After that, it's up to the student to start collecting their 'Passport' stamps. The Passports will be kept in the classroom, and student's will have three opportunities' to stamp their passport depending on which tier levels they reach. Participant prize drawings will also be awarded weekly. We’re hoping this new format will create a more rewarding and fun experience for everyone involved.

Goals and Earnings:
We’ve got goals at three levels—schoolwide, classroom, and individual—so there are lots of ways to celebrate and win!
School Goal: $18,000
If our school hits this goal, we’ll unlock a special school-wide incentive that all students get to enjoy!
Classroom Goal: $1,700
Each classroom has its own fundraising goal. If your child helps their class reach it, they’ll enjoy a special reward. The top two class earners will also unlock a special class surprise!
Individual Student Goals:
As your child meets each goal tier, they’ll earn fun and exciting prizes (check the Prize Tier Sheet for full details). Plus, with every goal tier they hit, they’ll earn an entry into the Grand Prize Raffle!

Why is the fundraiser different this year?
We’re trying something new—and better! In past years, we used fundraising companies that took a large percentage of what was raised. This year, we’re doing it 100% in-house, run entirely by dedicated parent volunteers.
That means every dollar you give goes directly back to supporting our students, staff, and school!
What does the Community Club do with the money raised?
Funds raised help us support the students, staff, and families at Westgate. Here are just a few things we help fund:
• Family Fun Events (Pizza, Bingo & Books, Trunk or Treat, Carnival)
• Teacher support (classroom supplies, appreciation meals, gift cards)
How can I donate?
There are two easy ways to donate:
• Online: Use your student’s personal fundraising page to donate with a credit card through our secure checkout.
• Cash or Check: Send in a clearly marked envelope with your child’s name and teacher. Checks should be made out to Westgate Community Club. Turn it in to your child’s teacher or the front office.
Where can I find my child’s fundraising page (unique URL)?
You can find the link in 3 places:
1. Fundraiser tab pages – Links are shown at the top when you’re logged in.
2. My Account tab – Under the section called Fundraising Campaigns, you’ll see links for each of your children.
3. Go to the ‘Fundraiser 2025’ tab and find the ‘School Goal’ sub-tab – scroll to the bottom right, click your child’s classroom teacher, then click your child’s name.
How can I recruit and direct donors to my child's fundraising page?
1. Once you have your Child's unique link and begin to share it, anyone can see their page and donate. Donors do not need to be signed up or logged in to view or donate to our fundraiser.
2. If you visit your child's fundraiser page and click 'Edit my student' (small green button next to their profile photo), you can add emails. When using this option, Westgate Elementary Community Club will send out fundraising related emails on your behalf to the email addresses you upload in that section.
How do I share my child's URL through text message?
If you're using an iPhone:
- Open Safari on your iPhone (iPad or Mac) and visit the website or web page.
- Tap the share button, or a square with an upward arrow and select Messages from the Share Menu.
- Enter the recipient’s name(s), and type an optional message before sending it.
If you're using an Android:
- Open your web browser (such as Chrome or Samsung Internet) and navigate to the website you want to share.
- Tap the share icon this is located in the top or bottom bar of the browser, and looks like three dots connected by lines.
- Select your messaging app from the list of options that appears. This will open a new text message window with the link pre-filled.
- Choose a contact(s) to send the message to and tap the send button.
Can someone donate via cash or check?
Yes! Checks should be made out to Westgate Community Club. Please place cash or checks in an envelope labeled with your child’s name and teacher, and return it to their teacher or the front office.
We’ll update your child’s fundraising total within 2 business days of receiving the donation.
Does every student get a prize?
Yes! We’ve made this fundraiser more inclusive than ever. Every student will receive a prize, no matter how much they raise. We’ve lowered prize tiers and added fun mystery grab bags to make sure everyone is included and celebrated.
